Robust, efficient, versatile: UniCarriers is launching a new range of manoeuvrable high lift trucks for warehouse logistics. The PSP 125 and PSP 160 models are ideal aides for internal transport even over longer distances as well as for stacking processes at heights up to 4,190 mm (PSP 125) or 5,400 mm (PSP 160). One special feature is the low width of the forklifts, which – at only 770 mm – is narrower than a euro-pallet and facilitates storage and retrieval in confined spaces. With its compact dimensions and load capacities of 1,250 kg for lighter applications (PSP 125) and 1,600 kg for heavier loads (PSP 160), the range is extremely versatile.
Compared with the previous generation, the PSP range has a higher lift mast as well as improved hydraulic and ergonomic properties. The electric pedestrian stackers with an AC motor offer a damped driving platform with low step-up height. This absorbs vibrations and allows comfortable, ergonomic work even for longer transport journeys. To protect the driver, both models are optionally available with folding side protection bars and an overhead guard. For optimum visibility, the lift mast is designed in accordance with the UniCarriers ProVision concept which enables the operator to see through the mast and therefore allows a full overview of the forks and load.
Easy operation with the tiller head
The operating elements in the ergonomically shaped tiller arm are arranged to be user-friendly. The functions of the UniCarriers Truck Computer installed as standard can be controlled with the keypad in the tiller head. The computer provides information on all important forklift operating data at a glance, such as service life or battery charge status. Moreover, error codes allow fast trouble-shooting and thus improve the availability of the high lift truck. Also, the keypad is provided with function keys for adjusting the creep and normal speed.
Pallet handling made easy
For easy and safe loading, the forks are slightly tapered in the front on the PSP range. Furthermore, the optional initial lift increases the ground clearance of the forklift, which makes load handling easier on uneven floors. With maximum speeds of 6 km/h (PSP 125) or 8.5 km/h (PSP 160), quicker goods handling is guaranteed. The sensors and control elements are protected from dust and water ingress in accordance with protection types IP 65 and IP 67. This makes the forklift particularly low-maintenance. The one-piece machine house cover ensures easy servicing and quick maintenance.
