UniCarriers is gearing up for expansion in the growth markets of Africa, Europe and the Middle East (EMEA): the forklift manufacturer has appointed Ulf Berg as the new General Manager of the International Division. In this position, he is responsible for the expansion of sales of industrial trucks and spare parts through the distributor network in the EMEA markets. His primary objective is to establish the UniCarriers sales partners in these regions as full range suppliers for warehouse and counterbalance products.

“Development of the international distributor network offers UniCarriers major growth opportunities in countries that have no branch of their own. In my task, a quick and comprehensive transfer of knowledge is important above all. This allows our sales partners to meet the UniCarriers quality standards in expert advice and customer care”, Ulf Berg describes the challenges of his new position. As General Manager, the 53-year-old Swede looks after the 60 UniCarriers distributors in the around 30 countries of the EMEA region and leads a team of seven members in the International Division of UniCarriers Europe.

Among other reasons, Ulf Berg was appointed to the new position for his international sales experience and his expertise in the expansion of dealer and distributor networks. Before moving to UniCarriers, he was responsible for Swedish sales in the role of Sales Manager for a leading forklift producer. Before that he spent ten years with an international car manufacturer as the sales and logistics manager for Scandinavia and the Baltic.
