Premiere in Stuttgart: International forklift manufacturer UniCarriers, which emerged from the merger of Atlet, Nissan Forklift and TCM, has appeared at a German trade fair for the first time. In its luggage, the company carried its portfolio of transport solutions and services. Particular highlights were the new PDP and URS warehouse truck ranges. Visitors were able to closely examine one model from each of the product lines on trade fair Stand 6C59 in Hall 6. Moreover, with the TX3, UniCarriers also exhibited an electric counterbalance truck.
Whether for narrow warehouse aisles, quick transfer to the lorry loading ramp or efficient work outdoors: UniCarriers offers the right transport solution for almost all logistical challenges. With the PDP 200, the company exhibited its latest double stacker. It can be used for the broadest range of in-house transport tasks including the handling of two pallets at once, cross-docking as well as rapid lorry loading and unloading. The double stacker is available with a folding operator platform, so operators can cover even longer distances without fatigue. Another new arrival in the UniCarriers product family is the TERGO URS. This combines the advantages of very-narrow-aisle and reach trucks and can be used both guided in the racking aisle and with free-range ability outside the aisles. The swivel reach truck therefore handles a broad range of logistical applications with flexibility. Maximum performance on three wheels is provided by the 48-Volt TX3 electric forklift. Like all models in the TX family, it is powered by a 7.1 kW AC motor, which allows powerful acceleration. At the same time, the TX forklifts are exceptionally reliable and safe to operate: thanks to maintenance-friendly, internal six-disc type wet-brakes and an AC control protected from the ingress of dust, moisture and corrosive gases, the range has long maintenance intervals of over 1,200 hours.
